Words matter. Which words you choose to use will greatly affect the number of people who will view, comment on, and share your blog posts, status updates, and tweets.  This is probably not news to you; we all know at some level that which words we choose to use will have an influence on who chooses to spend their (precious) time reading what we spend our (also precious) time writing.

HubSpot recently released data complied from a variety of sources, including analysis of their 3,700 business customers, surveys with hundreds of businesses responding, analysis of the data in their free tools like Website Grader, Twitter Grader and Facebook Grader.  Their tools are fantastic; I use them and I suggest that you do, too! The results are both interesting and useful if applied properly; this is the first article in a series highlighting ways to make use of this information.

When trying to increase views of your content it would make sense to use the most viewed words.  People are searching for and reading information that includes these words.  Help them find your content by including these words in the title of your post.  Make sure to include relevant popular words in your description and keywords along with the other important words you need to highlight.
