Here Are the All-New CoSchedule Content Types

More ways to keep your content organized...

The CoSchedule editorial calendar is recognized in the marketing community as one of the best ways to organize content for your social media, blog, and e-mail list. Organization is all about filtration: creating different buckets in which to drop different items. With that need in mind, CoSchedule recently announced that you can now specify the following content types from within your calendar:

Blog Post

Webinar

Video

Audio

Podcast

Website Content

Infographic

E-book

TPS Report

Social Campaign

Article

Newsletter

Email Marketing

More options and fewer limitations...

In fact, the content types you choose for any particular calendar are fully customizable. To establish your own type of content rather than using one of the standard designations:

  1. Visit Settings > Calendar Settings within the CoSchedule app.

  2. At the bottom right, beneath the standard types, click Create New.

  3. Choose an icon, and type in a name.

  4. Save it.

(Note: Custom Content Types are available for Team Pro Calendars and up.)

You may not recognize that final item in the CoSchedule list above. A TPS report is a testing procedure specification, a quality assurance document used in software and electronic engineering – as popularized by Office Space.
